Know our village "Bariakhop or Buriakhop"
Bariakhop a small village located far from hustle and bustle of city life in the West Sikkim, surrounded by hills and mountains. It is located 65 KM towards South from District head quarters Geyzing. 110 KM from State capital Gangtok and 130kms far from Siliguri, West Bengal.
Bariakhop is not a destination for people looking to sightsee or stay in a good resort and lounge. Lose yourself in the magic of the place and you will soon discover a new you that had been hidden under the cobwebs of city life.

Siliguri to Bariakhop is 130 kms. One can take reserved taxi or taxi shared cab from Siliguri.
Siliguri - Teesta Bazaar - Melli Sikkim ( Sikkim West Bengal border) - Jorethng Bazaar- Soreng Bazaar- Bariakhop.

Reaching Buriakhop is almost half day’s travel from Siliguri and it will take around 4 to 4.30 hrs through Melli-Nayabazar road (130 kms).
Bariakhop can be visited throughout the year but best time to visit Buriakhop in March, April & May for blossoming rhododendrons.
